The San Diego Women Veterans Network creates belonging and community for women veterans.

We also engage service providers for women veterans for collaboration and create a network of support for women veterans in our county.

Member Highlights


Integrated Recovery Foundation

 Establish a spiritual foundation striving to reduce and eventually eliminate women veteran suicides through an integrated recovery program for MST and PTSD. Eventually, offer the same treatment opportunity for men with MST/PTSD.


 General Dynamics Health Solutions Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center (DVBIC) 

 The Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center (DVBIC) is a part of the U.S. Military Health System. Specifically, DVBIC is the traumatic brain injury (TBI) center of excellence for the Defense Health Agency. Founded in 1992 by Congress, DVBIC’s responsibilities have grown as its network of care and treatment sites has grown. 


  Courage to Call 

 Courage to Call is a free, confidential, veteran-staffed 24/7 helpline dedicated to assisting active duty military personnel, veterans, reservists, guard members, and their families, regardless of discharge status, through information, guidance, and referrals.  



 STEP assists junior active duty enlisted members and recently discharged enlisted veterans and their families in Southern California facing financial crisis achieve long term financial self-sufficiency through counseling, education and grants to alleviate critical near term obligations.  


 DeVry University 

 DeVry University has a long history of helping current and former members of the U.S. military reach their higher education goals with a variety of tech-infused degree programs and other benefits for military students 


 Synergy Learning Institute 

 Combat Boots to Heels is a professional development program specific to women veterans in any stage of transition from the military and life.
Our exclusive “Combat Boots to Heels” program arms female veterans with pride and stride as it is tailored to meet each individual where they are and guide them where they want to be.
