The San Diego Women Veterans Network creates belonging and community for women veterans.
We also engage service providers for women veterans for collaboration and create a network of support for women veterans in our county.
The #1 Request of women veterans in San Diego is to meet other women veterans.
Three Parts
Part 1: Provide opportunities to create belonging and community for Women Veterans
Part 2: Provide a forum for service providers to work together to become more effective and more efficient
Part 3: Organize and host bridge events to bring the women veterans and service providers together
Easter Seals Bob Hope Veterans Support Program
provides one-on-one employment services, as well as referrals to other resources, to meet the unique needs of military personnel and veterans transitioning out of the military into a civilian job or starting their own small business. It was built off of the success of Easterseals' WorkFirst customized employment services model

is a free, comprehensive career skills program that provides civilian career training, professional certifications and job placement support to transitioning service members, members of the selected reserves, veterans, and military spouses. O2O partners with private sector companies committed to training and hiring military talent and their spouses earlier in the transition process.
provides an integrative healing process for post 9-11 combat veterans who are battling the debilitating symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Recognizing that the effects of PTSD on both mind and body can be healed, WLO offers integrative programming incorporating nature treks, acupuncture, Somatic Experiencing, Organic Intelligence, yoga and nutrition. This multi-modal approach eases symptoms of PTSD and opens the door to a new way of living.
The VetWORKS Program is a training, certification, and employment program of A-DA that will assist unemployed Veterans residing in San Diego County who have separated from the military to increase their job skills and assist them in entering civilian employment. All those enrolled are expected to complete a training program and pass a certification exam that will be recognized by local employers.
